Well I woke up early yesterday and as I was making my breakfast I decided to set up my camera on my HUGE balcony and shoot sunrise timelapse. While doing that I remembered that I had set up crappy webcam on inside my window frame. In here, Finland we usually have three layer windows to keep the warm air inside the house and cold outside, so there is plenty of room and it ain’t that cold for the webcam. So, I started OBS and started streaming live feed of said timelapse shooting. Which is basically static image of camera and blown out sky moving from east to west.
Now I woke up early to catch a sunrise timelapse again and I thought what the heck and started streaming again:
Few days has gone by without proper sunrise and today I almost missed due sun rising so early and I was a bit late due public transportation and soon sun will rise before I get to work. Or before I even wake up! Oh, but wait… daylight savings might get me few more days of shooting! Finally one good reason for that thing.
I have to say one great thing about being work where I am at the moment has many benefits, but huge one is that we do get to see most spectacular views. Sunrises and sunsets. This photo was taken ten minutes ago and it’s now gone. Sky is all blueish gray and no sunshine anymore and rain front is coming from the sea too.
It was supposed to rain this morning and actually it did start to rain when I left home to work. I drove to work instead of bicycling. If I had bicycled I wouldn’t had chance to shot this since it took me only 15 min to drive from home to work as it would have taken 35 min to bicyle, I would have been 15 min too late. I’m glad I did take the car.
Took this in the morning and first I didn’t wanted to take a proper picture, just an iPhone shot. Then I thought that I would blame myself for not taking this shot with a proper camera and since I have brand new camera, Nikon D7100, what a good reason to take this shot.
